About the role

The Highland County License Bureau is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Clerk at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles office in Hillsboro.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries regarding driver’s licenses, vehicle registrations, and related matters.
• Process transactions such as renewals, changes of address, and issuance of temporary permits.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation submitted by customers.
• Perform administrative tasks including filing, record keeping, and data entry.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• A high school diploma is preferred.
• A BCI/FBI Background check is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
