About the role
Provides financial and business leadership to the Wholesale division to deliver excellent customer service and maximize profitability. Responsible for the efficient and effective management of the business function of the Wholesale Division. Leads the data management and analysis of business processes and programs. Coordinates closely with IT data functions and the current enterprise data strategy.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes financial results to identify business operation changes. Recommends and coordinates implementation of performance improvement initiatives.
- Provides leadership in assessing the internal rate of return on capital projects and acquisitions.
- Works with Division personnel to complete the AFE process and integrate it into existing operations.
- Analyzes sales information, market data, projections, and other meaningful information to prepare annual sales and gross income budgets, capital and overhead budgets, and long-range forecasts.
- Manages, reconciles, and reports distributor incentive rebates and provides direction to accounting on month-end and year-end accruals to ensure accurate financial statement reporting of rebates.
- Ensures monthly financial statements are complete and accurate in collaboration with Division personnel and accounting.
- Leads and manages vendor and customer prepayment programs, trait and genetic royalty payments, and year-end processing.
- Provides leadership to team members and performs backup duties for the Data & Financial Analysis Manager.
- Identifies process and technology opportunities that promote growth and efficiencies.
- Maintains knowledge of technology advancements and how tools could be utilized to enhance wholesale growth.
- Creates, develops, and disseminates financial and operational metrics and reports.
- Strengthens business acumen among division employees.
- Works closely with Division management in assessing short and long-term objectives to assist in developing strategic plans and process metrics.
- Conducts market research and trend analysis to identify strategies and opportunities for improving the overall financial performance of the Division.
- Serves as a liaison to all other GROWMARK divisions and leads business analysis support efforts for special studies.
- Encourages, supports, and promotes innovative practices, ideas, and technologies within the team.
- Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business, or equivalent, with 10+ years of related work experience demonstrating knowledge of accounting and finance.
- Advanced degree or certification such as MBA, CPA, or CMA is desired.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to achieve results through others while displaying team-building skills.
- Understanding of GROWMARK’s Wholesale business and the environment in which both GROWMARK and its stakeholders operate.
- Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and passport.
- Ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
- Willingness to participate in required training related to GROWMARK’s policies and procedures.

Pay
Salary range: $105,150.00 - $144,537.50. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. Certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
