Responsibilities

  • Treat pets with compassion and respect
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate medicine
  • Participate in in-house diagnostics and internal medicine workups
  • Focus on non-orthopedic and non-thoracic surgical cases
  • Collaborate with a supportive team including two owner veterinarians, a practice manager, certified veterinary technicians, and skilled veterinary assistants
  • Enjoy a flexible schedule with no after-hours emergencies or weekend shifts
  • Work in a modern, purpose-built facility with four exam rooms, a comfort room, separate cat and dog kennels, digital x-rays, and Mindray Vetus 7 ultrasound

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
  • Current Pennsylvania State license
  • Experience in small animal medicine and surgery preferred but not required
  • Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) or passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) Part I and II
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
