Pay

$18.00 per hour

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance
  • Must pass background check (no crimes against another person or arson)
  • Flexible schedule; localized travel required using company and/or personal vehicle
  • Experience working with persons with disabilities/disadvantages preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide and support participant assessment, training, coaching, and job readiness services
  • Supervise and/or provide direct employment services to funded and un-funded program participants earning commensurate or non-commensurate wages
  • Assist with screening referrals for appropriate program and service options
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with participants, referral agencies, and team members
  • Ensure all paperwork and related activities (case notes, service reports, time studies) are current, accurate, compliant, and timely
  • Provide hands-on training, direct supervision, and support to participants at various work locations
  • Gather accurate data for reporting requirements, including work behaviors and productivity
  • Make recommendations to supervisory staff on policy or management style changes
  • Assist with orientation of new referrals and participant intake processes
  • Assist participants in achieving the highest level of independent functioning while receiving services
  • Review and assist in developing intake, service plans, and supporting documentation for each participant
  • Perform job and task analysis; monitor and record participant progress to ensure goals are met
  • Stay informed of current wage trends and job coaching techniques
  • Explain and demonstrate tasks according to employer expectations
  • Work with participants on tasks to ensure understanding and achievability of job duties
  • Work a variety of shifts and locations, including weekends and evenings, depending on assignment
  • Provide services in accordance with Goodwill Industries policies, CARF standards, and safety principles
  • Develop, monitor, and resolve skills training, vocational, or behavioral issues with staff
  • Provide and recommend job accommodations, including assistive technology needs
  • Support participants in achieving vocational and non-vocational goals
  • Model and train appropriate work behaviors and interpersonal skills using multiple methods to reach all learning styles
  • Assist in developing natural supports for participants
  • Collaborate with Workforce and Family Services to provide participant services
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest to ensure safety of personnel and property
  • Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Maintain agency confidentiality (violation is cause for immediate dismissal)
  • Comply with all health, safety, fire standards, and local, state, and federal regulations (WISHA & OSHA)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
