As a Survey Crew Chief, you will lead junior teammates and perform assignments related to boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and existing condition surveys. This role includes a mix of field and office duties, working with internal and external clients to support projects.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various survey technologies to complete projects.
• Download and process survey field data.
• Analyze and adjust survey control.
• Lead junior teammates in boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and existing condition surveys.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of prior leadership experience.
• Proficient with the latest survey technologies, robotic total stations, base/rover & network GPS units.
• Familiarity with boundary, topographic, utility, right-of-way, and existing condition surveys.
• Knowledge of land surveying practices, principles, and techniques.
• Self-starter, highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD for drafting and computations.
• Knowledge of Carlson SurvCE.
• Experience working on land development projects or in the natural gas industry.
• Ability and desire to become a licensed Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) and/or obtain your Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in NY, PA, or MA.

Pay

$31–33/hour
