We are seeking a Survey Party Chief to join our North Carolina operations and play a key role in supporting field construction activities through accurate survey control, layout, and as-built documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction layout, control lines, and elevations for field operation
• Perform topographic and cross-section surveys to support project planning and production
• Verify as-built conditions and ensure field measurements are accurate
• Assist with quantity calculations and project documentation
• Troubleshoot field layout challenges and coordinate with project teams
• Lead and direct survey crews while maintaining safety and quality standards
• LSIT is preferred.

Requirements

• 3+ years of surveying and land mapping experience
• Experience with construction layout, topographic surveys, and cross-section surveys
• Strong knowledge of survey instruments and field data collection
• Valid driver's license
• Leadership experience directing or mentoring survey personnel
• Strong communication skills with project management and engineering teams
