About the role

The Western US Facilities Manager will be based in San Francisco or LA County and will be part of our Facilities Management & Construction team. The role is West Coast based and will have manager responsibilities. The role will be reporting directly to the Sr. Manager – Facilities Management & Construction – US.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all FM&C projects, maintenance, and repair of assets, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure systems
  • Diagnosis and assistance with routine repair and maintenance tasks such as general upkeep and minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and equipment
  • Management of CMMS platform, tracking KPIs, and ensuring all SLAs are being met
  • Management of FM&C agency (DOH, DOB, DOA, EPA, etc.) related citations to ensure timely remediation
  • Aid in developing, implementing, and maintaining standard operating procedures, company policies, and processes
  • Aid in all aspects of project implementation, including all phases of construction projects from planning and design to construction and commissioning
  • Preparation of business cases, solicitation of design proposals, and assistance with construction bid and contracting processes
  • Management of facilities vendors, contractors, and consultants and providing detailed updates to main stakeholders
  • Scheduling, budgeting, and budget forecasting, reporting, cost control, and inspections/monitoring

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in facility maintenance with restaurant multi-unit experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and have strong interpersonal skills to work in a team environment across multiple markets and time zones
  • Excellent time management, organizational, coordination, critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and personal initiative
  • Must be flexible for travel and working off-hours as needed for project requirements
  • Able to work independently without regular direct supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, review P&L's, and manage vendors

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings

Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with CMMS platforms
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Pay

$90,000 base salary

Schedule

Hours may vary depending on location and shift requirements. Off-hours and travel may be required for project work.
