Wells Ave Camp Archery Specialist

About the role

This position involves leading archery activities for campers during the summer season at Day Camp at Wells Ave. Responsibilities include teaching archery skills, supervising campers, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach archery techniques and safety procedures to campers
• Supervise campers during archery sessions and other activities
• Ensure all activities adhere to YMCA values and safety guidelines
• Engage with campers to foster a positive and inclusive environment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience with archery and/or working with children
• Pass a background check
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, outdoor recreation, or related field preferred
• Previous experience working with children in a camp setting
• Strong communication and leadership skills
