About the Role
The Training Specialist I will play a key role in employee development, training coordination, and continuous improvement within a laboratory environment. This position involves delivering hands-on training, developing training materials, mentoring trainers, and collaborating with leaders and subject matter experts to ensure employees are trained, compliant, and proficient in their roles.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on training to employees in a laboratory setting.
- Develop and update training materials to support employee learning and compliance.
- Mentor and support trainers to enhance training effectiveness.
- Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to ensure training aligns with role requirements and regulatory standards.
- Manage multiple training initiatives while meeting deadlines.
- Ensure employees are trained, compliant, and proficient in their roles.
Requirements
- Experience delivering training to employees, preferably in a laboratory or technical environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning technologies.
- Solid understanding of training methodologies and best practices.
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- Laboratory experience is required.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Some related experience in training, employee development, or a similar role is preferred.
