About the role

The role of the Wellness Associate involves providing supportive services to guests in a mental health respite setting, helping them develop crisis coping skills, and working toward personal recovery goals.

Responsibilities

• Documenting treatment information, medication, and support plans
• Offering counseling and socialization opportunities
• Advocating for access to community resources
• Supporting guests in developing coping strategies and achieving personal goals
• Maintaining accurate records and fostering positive relationships with guests

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mental health field or equivalent experience
• Preferred certification as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner
