Wellness Nurse (LPN) Per-Diem

Job Description

The Wellness Nurse (LPN) is part of a team that ensures the health, safety, and well-being of residents at Monarch/Brandywine Senior Living. This role involves direct nursing care and supervision of care staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintains the health, safety, and well-being of all residents
• Assists in training and monitoring of medication administration
• Supervises care staff according to state and community regulations
• Maintains clinical quality assurance in compliance with federal, state, and local standards
• Promotes high-quality service to residents and embodies the company's mission
• Conducts thorough resident assessments

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current LPN license
• At least 2 years' experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital settings, preferably with residents having Alzheimer’s or related dementias
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations, and nursing practices, techniques, and methods related to health and wellness
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel)
• Physical abilities to lift up to 50 lbs intermittently and perform tasks requiring proper body mechanics
