About the role
The Wellness Nurse at Spectrum Retirement Communities supports the health and well-being of residents through ongoing clinical monitoring and support. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a warm, encouraging disposition.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the resident admission process, including screening, assessment, and care needs coordination
- Ensure care is delivered according to resident care plans
- Administer and ensure medications are administered per physicians' orders
- Coordinate care and services with other outside providers, including resident physicians
- Document and report care provided and resident observations, including unusual or significant changes
- Maintain a working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Working knowledge of state regulations, policies, and procedures
- Current nursing license and state registration (LPN or RN)
- Three years’ experience in assessment and geriatric nursing, preferred
