Wellness Director - RN

One Extra Consulting is recruiting a Wellness Director (RN) at Sea View Senior Living for a premier residential community in Brookings, Oregon. A $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for candidates willing to relocate to the Brookings coast.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of care for all residents, oversee the medication administration program, and conduct internal quality assurance departmental audits.
• Assess resident health conditions upon move-in and during changes of condition, establish appropriate care levels, and direct Plans of Care.
• Supervise, coach, and mentor the Resident Care Coordinator/Memory Care Program Manager, Community Nurse, Medication Technicians, and Caregivers.
• Maintain strict compliance with state regulations, manage nurse delegation, and oversee required staff training and safety standards.

Requirements

• A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of one (1) year of prior nursing experience in a Senior Living Community or related business, including a knowledge base of the geriatric population with complex medical needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or additional leadership training preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and write clinical reports, safety rules, and procedure manuals while speaking English proficiently.
• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills to calculate percentages and handle multi-variable situations.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, service plan software, and computerized medication documentation.

Pay

$115,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
