About the role

The Wellness Director – LPN or RN at The Country House in Westchester is responsible for the comprehensive delivery of personal care services to residents on a day‑to‑day basis, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes respect, dignity, and quality care as residents’ healthcare needs evolve, and includes coordinating, training, and supervising resident‑care staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care services to residents in accordance with state and local regulations.
• Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity while providing quality care that adapts to changing health needs.
• Coordinate, train, and supervise resident‑care staff to meet resident needs, state regulations, and company policies.
• Develop and maintain systems for monitoring resident health conditions and ensuring safe, efficient delivery of care.
• Supervise department employees using independent judgment and discretion.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community members, and state officials.
• Reprioritize daily tasks to accommodate fluctuating resident and community needs.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing, meeting all state health requirements.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in assisted living and/or long‑term care.
• Knowledge of state and local rules, regulations, laws, and ordinances related to licensed senior housing.
• Previous supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to reprioritize tasks.
• Ability to develop monitoring systems for resident health and ensure safe care delivery.
• Capability to supervise staff using independent judgment.
• Pass all health requirements and background checks.

Pay

Sign‑on bonus of $5,000 after 90 days of employment.

Sun‑Thu schedule with rotating MOD holiday coverage when applicable.
