Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of the community
- Treats residents with respect and dignity
- Ensures quality care as resident’s healthcare needs change
- Supervises community-based licensed nursing staff, medication technicians/CMA's, and Caregivers
- Provides training and education to Caregivers on an ongoing basis
- Manages associates schedules
- Oversees and manages medication training, pharmacy management, and medication supervision/administration
- Conducts periodic medication skill inventory checks and audits
- Shares on call duties as required
Requirements
- Education to obtain state nursing license (LPN/LVN or RN)
- Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience
- LPN or LVN license
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare operations
- Ability to provide training and education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage schedules and on-call duties
- Knowledge of medication administration and supervision
