Wellness Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between Merakey Children's Services and the Southeastern Pennsylvania community.
- Develop and facilitate educational trainings for families, staff, schools, and community organizations.
- Provide education on child abuse prevention, child safety, behavioral health, mental health awareness, and available community resources.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, schools, and referral sources.
- Promote awareness of behavioral health services and encourage individuals and families to access appropriate care.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify community needs and support prevention initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of local resources and provide referrals to individuals and families as appropriate.
- Support initiatives that improve community wellness and increase access to behavioral health services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2–4 years of experience in behavioral health, social services, education, or a related field
- Strong clinical knowledge with experience in training and community outreach
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
