Welding Supervisor

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the supervision and direction of the site welding team. The incumbent works with suppliers, customers, and site leadership to identify, research, and develop welding and process improvement plans. The incumbent is responsible for regularly reviewing site-welding metrics and using root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve welding operations. The incumbent is also responsible for managing and storing site welding records and documents per applicable quality procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in supervising welding teams
• Knowledge of welding processes and quality control procedures
• Ability to analyze data and implement improvements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in welding operations
• Welding certification (AWS D1.1, AWS A3.1)
