Position Responsibilities
- Lead welding operations across multiple commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects
- Coordinate daily field activities, manpower assignments, schedules, and project priorities
- Supervise welding crews and ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards
- Review blueprints, weld maps, piping drawings, and project documentation
- Monitor weld quality and ensure compliance with applicable codes, procedures, and customer requirements
- Mentor welders, foremen, and field personnel to support workforce development and technical growth
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field leadership teams to maintain productivity and project schedules
- Identify and resolve field challenges while maintaining quality and efficiency
- Promote and enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies
- Support project planning, resource allocation, and operational coordination across multiple projects
- Maintain project documentation, field reports, and workforce tracking as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of welding experience in commercial or industrial environments
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience as a foreman, superintendent, lead welder, or similar role
- Strong commercial and industrial pipe welding experience
- Current 6G Welding Certification required
- Advanced proficiency with stick welding and MIG welding processes
- Strong understanding of weld quality control procedures and inspection requirements
- Experience coordinating manpower, field operations, and production schedules
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Strong professionalism, accountability, and leadership presence
- Ability to work across multiple project sites throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex
