Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes
• Enforce strict adherence to health and safety policies and procedures
• Maintain project schedules and adjust workflows as needed to meet deadlines
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and proper use of materials and equipment
• Identify project risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions
• Cross-train and perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations (OSHA), and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between job sites
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Prominent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Prolonged standing, walking, climbing, and lifting as required on job sites
• May require extended hours, including evenings or weekends, based on project needs

Pay

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annualized. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
