Welding Adjunct Instructor "Pool"

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach a diverse student body in accordance with established syllabi at various locations
  • Utilize instructional technology
  • Apply a variety of effective teaching methods
  • Plan, manage, and deliver course instruction
  • Follow all EPA and OSHA regulations that pertain to the program
  • Participate in college functions as needed
  • Apply teaching practices that support the continuous improvement of both the program and the college

Minimum And Additional Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of experience in the welding field
  • An associate degree, or five years of experience along with relevant industry certifications
  • Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes on plate, pipe, and structural steel
  • In-depth knowledge of the welding trade
  • The ability to effectively share this knowledge with others through instruction and training

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior teaching experience, particularly at the community or technical college level or in secondary education settings
