About the Role
This position involves welding, fabricating, and repairing compactors, containers, and carts under general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs and basic welding processes on various materials.
- Repair and maintain compactors, containers, and carts, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Conduct safety checks, diagnostic inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Complete repair documentation using fleet maintenance software.
- Assist senior welders, perform service calls, and handle tasks like flame cutting and metal forming.
- Work from prints, drawings, and verbal instructions, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in welding techniques such as arc, gas, aluminum welding, brazing, and soldering.
- Ability to use standard tools, measuring devices, and interpret technical drawings.
