Key Responsibilities
- Able to operate various types of welding tools and various hand tools.
- Able to read drawings, blueprints, and heat numbers, if applicable.
- Follow and understand standard work, training guides, weld procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements.
- May be responsible for basic robot operation, where applicable.
- This could include loading and unloading parts, starting and stopping robot, daily device TPM, daily operator TPMs, and to notify lead or supervisor if any welds are not within tolerance.
- Basic problem solving and decision making.
- Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements.
- Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment.
- Able to make adjustments to various fab parts to allow proper alignment.
