Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Prepare and set up: position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
• Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts.
• Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.

Pay

The expected pay scale for this role is $22.62–$24.29 per hour, depending on experience, skill set, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a monthly bonus, health and welfare benefits, and a 401(k) match.
