About the role
We’re looking for skilled and detail-oriented individuals to join us in fabricating and repairing metal into high-quality components for our community. Whether you have experience or are eager to learn, we welcome candidates of all backgrounds to bring their unique strengths to our team.
Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.
- Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
- Prepare and set up equipment and materials for welding operations.
- Lift and position materials using lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.
- Ensure quality by utilizing measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
- Maintain and organize work areas, keeping track of material inventory, performing machine maintenance, and supporting housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
Requirements
- Have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing quality work.
- Enjoy hands-on roles and working with machinery or are eager to learn.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in welding or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and layout specifications.
Skills
- Welding skills (including TIG, MIG, and/or stick welding).
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.

- Computer literacy (basic proficiency with Microsoft Office).
