Welder - 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for welding operations.
• Lift and position materials using lifting devices such as cranes and forklifts, as needed.
• Ensure quality by utilizing measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and organize work areas, performing machine maintenance and supporting housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in welding or related field preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures.

Pay

• $3,000 Sign On Bonus!
• $1,500 at 90 days and $1,500 at the 1-year mark!

Schedule

• Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm with some overtime required.
