Welder 1 or 2

About the Role

We are seeking a Welder 1 or 2 to join our team in Mandan, ND. This is a day shift position, working Monday to Thursday from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime as needed. The pay rate is $23.50 - $26.00+ per hour, depending on experience, and includes a full benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety and quality requirements
• Learn company policies and procedures
• Work on basic manufacturing assignments with set standards
• Follow detailed instructions under close supervision
• Problem-solve simple and non-complex issues requiring little judgment
• Perform measurements within specified tolerances
• Learn to read blueprints
• Work well with others
• Maintain prompt and dependable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

• Perform simple flat and horizontal welds, and flat groove welds
• Fit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot welds
• Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization, and welding equipment set-up and maintenance
• Understand and follow oral and written directions
• Read a tape measure (imperial and metric)
• Basic understanding of weld symbols
