Responsibilities

  • Ensure Safety First, Safety Always and meet or exceed all Quality expectations.
  • Inspect welding equipment prior to shift start.
  • Set and operate weld machines according to manufacturer specifications and production time budgets.
  • Select, install, and position required fittings following Standard Work Instructions.
  • Perform welds that meet all company and code requirements.
  • Visually inspect welds for defects and report issues to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain welding machines and ensure cleanliness of workstation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year welding experience (preferred).

Skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to work in heat, humidity, and cold.
  • Understanding of welding, metal properties, electrical equipment, and manual tools/gauges.
  • Ability to operate a MIG welder and adjust parameters as needed.
  • Ability to safely lift/move up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to record data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to meet departmental goals and improve operations.

Pay is based on experience.
