Responsibilities
- Ensure Safety First, Safety Always and meet or exceed all Quality expectations.
- Inspect welding equipment prior to shift start.
- Set and operate weld machines according to manufacturer specifications and production time budgets.
- Select, install, and position required fittings following Standard Work Instructions.
- Perform welds that meet all company and code requirements.
- Visually inspect welds for defects and report issues to the Supervisor.
- Maintain welding machines and ensure cleanliness of workstation.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year welding experience (preferred).
Skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to work in heat, humidity, and cold.
- Understanding of welding, metal properties, electrical equipment, and manual tools/gauges.
- Ability to operate a MIG welder and adjust parameters as needed.
- Ability to safely lift/move up to 60 lbs.
- Ability to record data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work collaboratively to meet departmental goals and improve operations.
Pay is based on experience.
