Pay & Earnings Potential
Earn approximately $22–$26 per hour depending on welding level and attendance incentive eligibility. This effective hourly range includes our attendance incentive program that rewards employees who work all scheduled hours during the pay period.
- Attendance Incentive Program: Employees who work all scheduled hours during the pay period are eligible to earn a $240 attendance incentive every two weeks. When earned consistently, this program adds approximately $3.00 per hour in additional earnings. Maximum annual opportunity: $6,240
- Retention Bonus Program:
- Welder I – Up to $1,000
- Welder II – Up to $1,500
- Welder III – Up to $2,000
- Employee Referral Bonus: Earn up to $1,000 for referring qualified candidates who join our team.
Responsibilities
- MIG weld trailer components and structural parts
- Read and follow blueprints and work instructions
- Assemble and fabricate metal parts
- Maintain weld quality and production standards
- Follow safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- MIG welding experience preferred
- Ability to read tape measures and blueprints
- Strong attention to quality and craftsmhip
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (preferred)
- Technical education courses, postsecondary institutions (e.g., vocational and technical institutes, community colleges, private welding schools), or welding training through the U.S. Armed Forces
- Strong understanding of how to interpret and use blueprints, welding specifications, and welding procedures
- Ability to use and read welding measuring devices including squares, levels, and tape measures
- Ability to take and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervision and team members regarding job functions and tasks
- Ability to make repair welds using fabrication equipment including cutting torches, hand grinders, surface grinders, and wheel grinders
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) for calculating material fabrication
- Capability to learn the proper use of fabrication support equipment including turntables, cranes, hoists, lift tables, carts, flip tables
