Mitchell County Regional Health Center (MCRHC) is a 25-bed critical access hospital in Osage, Iowa, serving Mitchell County with a population of 10,600. We operate a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room with 3,200 annual visits and a Surgical Services department performing over 1,300 procedures annually, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain Management, and Podiatry. With a strong tradition of excellence, we provide three clinics, 24/7 emergency services, and inpatient/outpatient medical and surgical care. MCRHC has invested millions in facility upgrades in recent years and employs over 225 staff with an average tenure of eight years. About the Role
The welcome desk position is responsible for providing a great first impression and warm welcome to all who enter Mitchell County Regional Health Center. After greeting, the role involves assisting patients and visitors to their destinations.
Schedule
- Works Monday through Friday, 7 am to 5 pm (2 to 3 hour shifts).
- Schedule is flexible and arranged around your preferences.
- No minimum hours required; typically around 10 to 15 hours per week.
Pay
$15 per hour.
Requirements
- Ability to use Microsoft Office for correspondence and other duties as assigned.
- Strong communication skills with the public in a positive and professional manner.
- Must be trustworthy, independent, calm, and friendly.
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Reference checks (pre-offer).
- Post-offer drug screen and background check.
- Verification of required vaccinations at offer acceptance: MMR, Tetanus, and Varicella.
