Salary: $3,229.00 - $4,041.00 monthly ($38,748.00 - $48,492.00 annually)

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school.
  • Three years of full-time public contact work, including at least two years of supervisory or welcome center experience.
  • Qualifying full-time experience may substitute for required education on a year-for-year basis.

Necessary Special Qualifications:

  • A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required.
  • For the past five years, the candidate's driver record must not include: DUI, reckless driving, license suspension for moving violations, or more than 4 moving violations.

About the Role

Under general supervision of a Regional Manager, the Welcome Center Manager leads the operational and performance excellence of the assigned welcome center. This role requires a team-oriented, resourceful individual with strong customer service, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure daily operation of the Welcome Center, maintaining cleanliness of buildings, grounds, and parking areas for sanitary, aesthetically pleasing, and safe facilities.
  • Supervise Welcome Center Assistants and Building Maintenance staff by assigning work schedules, training new employees, maintaining time records, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Work any shift (Building Maintenance Worker or Welcome Center Assistant) as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation by inspecting custodial and maintenance work and authorizing repairs.
  • Test water for purity and routinely check for hazardous conditions (e.g., sidewalk cracks, slippery floors, water leaks).
  • Manage inventory of equipment and supplies, order and purchase supplies, and prepare standard records and reports (e.g., time sheets, monthly/quarterly reports).
  • Implement and follow all safety and security procedures, reporting unsafe conditions and filing incident reports.
  • Attend, work, or coordinate training seminars, travel shows, and special events as required.
  • Temporarily cover Rest Area brochure stocking responsibilities for the Regional Manager as needed.
