Weighing Batch Process Technician (2nd shift)

About the role

Use product batch records to verify, measure, label, and document raw materials in preparation for processing. Must be able to work on your feet for 10-hour shifts and regularly lift 50 lbs. We follow GMP’s, which means no food or jewelry in the work area and strict uniform and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

  • Clean all areas and equipment to be used, verifying it is free of contaminants.
  • Verify that all necessary materials are correct, present, released, and within the expiration period.
  • Verify all ingredients so they match the batch record.
  • Open bags, boxes, and other containers.
  • Use scales to measure raw materials and repackage to send to Blending.
  • Weigh drums individually and all together to record and verify the weight.
  • Label all containers appropriately including product name, Lot number, weight, and number of doses.
  • Use logbooks to document raw materials, equipment, product tracking, etc.
  • Assure that products leaving the department are stored in the proper areas.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the company GMPs.
  • Follow all safety policies and ensure the work environment is free of safety hazards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and write basic English.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs from ground to waist frequently.
  • Basic math knowledge (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Ability to work 10 hours a day standing up.

Pay

$21.25 per hour (2nd Shift).

Schedule

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (occasional overtime on Fridays may be required).
