Weighing Batch Process Technician
Summary
Use product batch records to verify, measure, label and document raw materials in preparation for processing.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Clean all areas and equipment to be used, verifying it is free of contaminants.
- Verify that all necessary materials are correct, present, released, and within the expiration period.
- Verify all ingredients so they match the batch record.
- Open bags, boxes and other containers.
- Use scales to measure raw materials and repackage to send to Blending.
- Weigh drums individually and all together to recording then verify the weight.
- Label all containers appropriately including product name, Lot number, weight, number of doses.
- Document raw materials, equipment, product tracking, etc. in logbooks.
- Assure that products leaving the department are stored in the proper areas.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the company GMPs.
- Follow all safety policies and ensure work environment is free of safety hazards.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and write basic English.
- Ability to lift 40lbs from ground to waist frequently.
- Basic math knowledge (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to work 10 hours a day standing up.

Pay Rate
1st Shift: $19.50
Schedule
1st Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm (occasional overtime on Fridays may be required)
