- Follow the batching process, including the accurate measurement and mixing of ingredients according to recipe specifications and production schedules.
- Cooking Duties
- Coordinate with the Batching Supervisor to ensure timely availability of ingredients and materials for batching operations.
- Maintain accurate records of batch production, ingredient usage, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize batching processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of batching operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with quality control and R&D teams to evaluate product quality and assist in the development of new formulations and recipes.
- Monitor batching equipment and systems, troubleshooting any issues and coordinating with maintenance staff for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience with batching, mixing, industrial cooking, or similar, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of batching equipment, systems, and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g., HACCP, SQF).
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
