Weekend Wound Nurse

Luxor Healthcare is seeking a Weekend Wound Care Nurse LPN / RN (WCC, WOCN) to provide support across multiple buildings in a flexible float‑style role assisting with weekend wound care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization and the state of Missouri
• Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record, and communicate resident condition
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments
• Provide resident‑specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention
• Medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents’ care, and implementation of schedules for residents

Requirements

• Active LPN or RN license in the state of Missouri
• Some wound care experience preferred
• Certification preferred but not required
• Minimum experience: one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
