Weekend Shift Machine Operator

About the Role

We are seeking support in our weekend shift, which follows a 3–12-hour schedule working Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Operator level machinists must have relevant lathe experience and be competent in diagnosing tool cutter issues related to production manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Load and run parts in CNC machines, including computer-controlled mills and lathes
• Perform minor part assembly and deburr
• Conduct part inspection and other related manufacturing tasks

Requirements

• Experience operating CNC machines
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with inspecting and measuring mechanical parts with calipers and micrometers
• Some experience making simple changes to machine offsets
• Ability to inspect and replace broken tools and re-offset them

Skills

• Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably
• Good mechanical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfort with physical labor and hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate with written and verbal English language

Compensation based on experience.
