Employee Type: Hourly | Pay range: $40,000 – $60,000 USD per year
Schedule
- Training: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM for approximately 2–4 weeks
- Regular shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Perform basic machining operations using assigned machine tools
- Inspect parts using basic measuring tools; inform lead of out-of-tolerance situations
- Obtain first-piece inspection approval before proceeding
- Conduct periodic inspections of parts
- Prepare and maintain records and reports as required
- Maintain established quality standards
- Keep work area and equipment clean, safe, and orderly; follow all safety measures and company policies
- Wear and maintain personal protective equipment; observe all safety rules and regulations
- Operate equipment safely
- Participate as a member of work teams; assist in measuring team performance for safety, quality, and cost
- Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and procedures to assemble products accurately
- Perform microscope inspection on assembled parts
- Maintain inventory of product in workstations
- Perform quality work checks to ensure product meets standards
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
- Attend required training programs
- Perform 5S activities
- Assist in training other associates in procedures and use of equipment
- Read, use various inspection equipment, precision tools, and apply basic inspection and measurement practices
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months’ work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to remain productive under indirect supervision and follow verbal and written instructions
- Basic mathematical aptitude
