Machine Operator - Weekend Shift
About the Role
This shift runs Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. The Machine Operator performs routine tasks to support the production assembly process, ensuring efficiency and maximum productivity.
Responsibilities
- Assure all products meet the highest standard of quality.
- Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection of cores and materials.
- Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements.
- Adhere to all company rules and policies.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Ensure work practices comply with OSHA standards.
- Monitor machines to avoid unnecessary downtime.
- Finish units according to the production specification sheet.
- Set up finishing machines and adjust machine settings and functions.
- Operate a hoist properly and safely.
Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred but not required.
- Solid understanding of measurements using standard and metric measuring devices.
- Ability to set up finishing machines and understand machine settings and functions (required).
- Ability to operate a hoist properly and safely.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds (required).
- Ability to stand for extensive periods of time.
