Machine Operator -Weekend Shift

Responsibilities

• Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.
• Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes and similar CNC machine tools.
• Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth micrometers.
• Communicate process issues to supervisor for investigation.
• Completes the necessary paperwork and computer entry steps.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate vertical/horizontal mill, lathe or Swiss machinery.
• Troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to perform non-complex adjustments and changes to machinery.
• 1+ years of experience.
• 2-year machining degree preferred.
• Metalworking experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $17.12 - $29.09 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.

Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a Machine Operator, located in Sauk Rapids, MN. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Machine Operator will start and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine controls or control media as required.
