Submit your application for the opportunity below: Vascular - General US Tech Job Summary And Qualifications As a Vascular - General Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform diagnostic general and non-invasive vascular procedures on adult and geriatric patients with a high degree of quality as requested by the ordering physician following established policies and procedures. What you will do in this role: Obtain and record all pertinent clinical information relating to the procedure ordered including but not limited to collative study results, reason for the procedure, patient complaints/symptoms and history relating to the ability to withstand a vascular procedureFacilitate the vascular procedure by proper placement of the probe in accordance with the instructions in the department policy and procedure manualAssist, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring their modesty and physical safety, utilizing auxiliary equipment and or devices neededCheck the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of procedure area and equipment to prevent cross contamination of contagious diseases, and keep area stocked with necessary supplies What qualifications you will need: Associate degree1 to 3 years of experience preferred, preferably in an acute-care settingEligible for ARDMS registration; RVT preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification Benefits HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
