Job Summary and Qualifications
As an Echo-Vascular Tech at HCA Florida Largo Hospital, you will work alongside a dedicated team to provide high-quality care. This position requires a strong background in echocardiogram procedures and certifications.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Perform special non-invasive procedures, mount findings, and prepare results for physicians
- Complete all necessary paperwork in Meditech & PACS systems
- Maintain knowledge and skills, and support hospital’s philosophy, objectives, and goals
- Recognize and respond appropriately to life-threatening situations
- Perform special non-invasive procedures such as M-Mode, 2-D, TEE, Doppler, Color-Flow, Stress Echo, Cardiac Stress, Electrocardiograms, Signal averaged Electrocardiograms, and Holter Monitoring
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Vocational/Technical School program for Echocardiogram Technicians
- RVT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Meditech knowledge
- 1 to 3 years of experience
