About the Role
Utilizes duplex ultrasound (color/spectral Doppler & grayscale) and plethysmography techniques to perform non-invasive testing on patients referred to the Vascular Lab to diagnose vascular disorders. Provides preliminary test results and documentation required for the reading physician to deliver a comprehensive evaluation, which physicians use to determine appropriate medical and/or surgical therapies.
Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive vascular testing using duplex ultrasound and plethysmography techniques.
- Diagnose the presence of vascular disorders in referred patients.
- Provide preliminary test results and documentation for physician review.
- Support physicians in determining appropriate medical or surgical therapies based on test results.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound program.
Qualifications
- Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) certification.
Schedule
- Full-time temporary position.
- Shift: Day (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
Pay
The minimum starting rate for this position is $39.00 per hour. The final rate of pay will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills. This rate does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
