Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing to include various 2D/Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing.
• Provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Provide all necessary documentation and preliminary exam findings.

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program Required.
• In lieu of education, equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required.
• No experience required; 2 years related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient/ambulatory vascular sonographer Preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association Upon Hire Required.
• Current registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with one of the following within 1 year:
  • RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Required, or
  • RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Required.
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RVS certification within 1 Year Required.
