Weekend Nurse Supervisor - RN

About the Role

This role involves managing a long-term care patient area and/or nursing department shift to ensure safe and efficient operations. The nurse provides emotional support to patients and their families as a key aspect of the role.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct staff activities
• Oversee quality patient care
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing practices
• Administer and record medications according to physician orders and center policies
• Take vital signs and collect laboratory specimens

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license from the Georgia State Nursing Board
• Alignment with the organization’s standards, values, and beliefs
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to foster effective working relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
