About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to oversee resident care and staff scheduling in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and supervising nursing staff to ensure resident care needs are met
- Providing support and fostering a compassionate environment for residents and families
- Responding to resident and staff questions and requests with clear communication
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
- Managing confidential resident information and documentation of care services
- Promoting teamwork among healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and prescribing programs
- Excellent communication skills and basic computer proficiency
