About the role
CareCore at Mentor is seeking a dedicated Weekend Night Shift Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision during weekend night shifts.
- Support and mentor nursing staff while promoting a positive team environment.
- Ensure high-quality resident care and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Respond to changes in resident conditions and assist with clinical decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Complete documentation accurately and ensure PointClickCare (PCC) documentation is maintained.
- Participate in admissions, incident follow-up, and other clinical responsibilities as needed.
- Serve as the nursing leader on duty during assigned shifts.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio LPN or RN license in good standing.
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience required.
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and communication skills.
- Experience with PCC is a plus.
