LPN/RN Night Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, and organizing the day to day functions.
- Provide supervision to the nursing staff, while ensuring the quality of nursing care provided to our residents.
- Supervise night shift staff and ensure quality care is being provided.
- Assist with administrative duties and shift coordination.
- Cover any call-ins until 12:00 AM, after which the administrator on call will assume responsibility.
- Provide support to floor staff as needed and help resolve shift-related issues.
Requirements
- Experience as a Charge Nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
- Supervise staff in day to day operations.
- Function as floor nurse as needed.
- Capable of maintaining regular weekend attendance.
- Supervise other employees and work cooperatively to obtain resident care objectives.
- Maintain compliance with local health regulations and complete a post-offer health assessment.
- Current LPN or RN license in the state.
- Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
- At least one year of LPN or RN experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
Qualifications
