Weekend Medical Front Desk - Columbia Tech Center

Vancouver Clinic is looking for a Front Desk Representative to join our team at our Columbia Tech Center location. A friendly demeanor, great attitude, and the desire to make a positive impact on our patients are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients by welcoming and greeting patients and their families
• Collect co-pays and obtain and complete insurance information
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Multitask and work well with others as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
• Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience preferred
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Excellent phone skills and customer service behaviors
• Strong computer keyboarding skills
• Ability to work with a diverse population of patients and colleagues, including those seeking or considering care in areas such as vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• Must have and maintain an activated smartphone that receives text messaging and/or ability to use required apps such as authenticator apps for multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Schedule

• Saturday and Sunday, 6:15am to 5:15pm
• Full-time training period lasting approximately 4–6 weeks at the start of employment

Pay

• Hiring range: $18.00/hour to $21.37/hour (placement depends on evaluation of experience)
• Weekend differential: $2.62/hour
• Pay range: $17.31 - $24.24
