Weekend Male DSP Needed – Behavioral Support Case

About the role

Ameriwell Care is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and energetic Male Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support for an individual with developmental disabilities who presents with behavioral support needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and community-based support
• Implement behavioral support strategies and maintain a calm, positive environment
• Assist with daily living activities and skill development
• Encourage independence, engagement, and community participation
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team
• Build a meaningful and supportive relationship with the individual

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges preferred
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Patient, professional, and compassionate attitude
• Ability to remain calm and confident in challenging situations

Schedule

9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, Full-Time
