Weekend Female DSP – Behavioral Support Case
Ameriwell Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate Weekend Female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual with behavioral needs in Stratford, New Jersey. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide hands-on, one-on-one support to an individual who benefits from structure, consistency, and a calm, supportive caregiver.

DSP (Behavioral Support Case) supporting an adult individual with behavioral and developmental support needs in Stratford, NJ.
Schedule
Weekend shifts with consistent weekly hours. Potential for long shifts depending on the plan of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support with daily living skills and community activities
- Follow individualized Behavior Support Plan (BSP) consistently
- Use positive behavior strategies and de-escalation techniques when needed
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
- Accurately document behaviors, interventions, and daily progress
- Encourage independence, routine, and personal growth
- Build a strong, respectful therapeutic relationship with the individual
Requirements
- Female DSP preferred for continuity of care
- Experience with behavioral or Tier EA cases strongly preferred
- Calm, patient, and able to stay composed during challenging situations
- Reliable, consistent, and committed to long-term placement
- Comfortable following structured behavioral plans and data collection
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
