Weekend Crew Production Associate

About the role

You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment, or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets.
• Execute all standard work processes on equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards.
• Ensure safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities are performed.
• Understand and report losses in your area and equipment.
• Perform visual inspections and measuring techniques.
• Complete quality and production paperwork legibly, accurately, and timely.
• Perform various duties as necessary, often changing tasks in different environments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience in a high-speed industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work any shift, including daily and weekend overtime if necessary.
• Physical capability to bend, carry, reach, climb, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate different types of manufacturing equipment (e.g., transports, forklifts).
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the language of communication as appropriate to the site.
• Ability to collaborate well in a diverse work environment.

• Operating machines with coaching.
• Understanding safety and quality standards for operating machines.

Pay

The hourly wage for this position is $23.10/hour.

Schedule

• Weekend shifts available with some required overtime.
• Shift flexibility is required.
